Cauayan Island Resort and Spa

Literally everything ❤️. The place is unique, located in an incredible island, 20 min boat ride from El Nido Port. First, the way from the airport from the hotel was great, super easy and comfortable. Then, we really loved the food they served in the restaurant (different options and all were great). Then, if you are looking for island hoping or scuba diving , you can already book the tours directly in the hotel. Finally, staff was the best. Always trying to help, assist you or making a recommendation. Special thanks to Pirlyn that was always there to help us with our tours and also to Remar, our tour guide for island hoping looking up for new places regardless of the weather. Simply fall in love. A charming hotel on a secluded and quiet island that maintains the environment at a high level. Starting with the rooms. Spacious, cozy, air-conditioned, equipped with everything you need for a vacation. A saltwater pool and a lovely beach with coconut trees, sun beds and chairs. An activity center for guests with diving, kayaking, climbing, and more. Excellent cuisine with fresh and good food. A charming bar with lots of types of alcohol and most importantly??? An amazing team of empathetic, kind, courteous employees, an extremely high level of service. I would especially like to mention Mark, who welcomed us with great love, and Lala from the reception desk, who did us a lot of good. We were lucky and during our stay, sea turtle eggs hatched and we watched the whole amazing process.

It was our first stay of our 2 week holiday in the Philippines in mid-November and it exceeded our expectations. The views were so beautiful, the resort is tranquil, and the location was on an island. I'd say it is perfect for a 2-3 night stay, as it is the only resort on the island. You will have enough time to use all facilities, snorkel, and head to the spa - we had the best massages here! Our room was very spacious and had a convenient layout. It was equipped with an outdoor shower also. Make sure to ask about the sunrise hike. A guide takes you up one of the mountains an hour before sunrise, and you will have the opportunity to sit at one of the highest points and wait for the sun to rise—magical and breathtaking! Food was good, they have a decent variety of international food to suit many. Cocktails are also good. A bit on the high side, but worth the whole experience. Highly recommended.

The property was stunning. The landscaping and grounds were well kept. Our room was decorated beautifully. It was clean and everything was in working order. Staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The restaurant had plenty of choices and everything ordered was good. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

From the second we stepped foot in Lio Airport the Cauayan staff took care of everything. We did not have to carry our own baggages until drop off at the end of our stay. Apart from the endless amazing amenities Cauayan offers (snorkeling, kayak, paddling, hiking, gym, etc...) the food & service was just exceptional. I booked a surprise floating dinner for my boyfriend & the staff prepared it with so much love & eye for detail. I was truly amazed. I could go on & on about how attentive & considerate the staff was. Each & every staff member made us feel like home. Special thanks to Jolary, Nick, Joar? (not sure if that was spelled right)
